Riding Gear
We take it VERY seriously, and we think you should too!  We have tried to find the very best in riding gear to recommend to our customers, based upon our own experience with various brands, witnessing the side-effects of crashes over the years with riders wearing all types of gear (including crashing ourselves), as well as talking with manufacturers and visiting production and distribution facilities to get all the details on not just what the products are and how they look, but how they are MADE.  It's important to keep in mind that the products with the best marketing may not be the best products in terms of quality and safety.  While there are many good and bad brands of riding gear available, and everything in between, we believe that our recommendations represent the very best of what is available today, and that's why you'll see us wearing it ourselves and stocking it for sale to our valued customers!  You should also know that we do not accept sponsorship from anyone, and we buy this stuff to wear ourselves because we believe it to be the best.  There are certainly other options available, and we carry a variety of brands in our store, but people often ask us what we wear ourselves, so this is it!

TrackAddix Recommended Riding Gear:
Helmets Leather Suits & Gloves
Arai is at the forefront of helmet safety, and no other company spends as much time developing helmet features to protect riders at the race track.  Arai is worn by more MotoGP and World Superbike riders than any other brand.

Arai advertisements contain the slogan: "We know you wished an Arai cost less..... but it can't".  This pretty much sums up Arai's approach to helmets, they aim to make the best helmets they can possibly make because they don't believe safety should ever be compromised when it comes to your noggin.  We agree.

As part of the uncompromising safety focus of Arai, they offer an industry-leading fitting system including the use of four separate shell shapes to fit virtually any head.  They do this because the SAFEST helmet is the one that fits your head PERFECTLY so there is no excessive movement of the helmet on your head in a crash.  It costs a lot more to produce helmets this way, no doubt, but it's clearly the best way in terms of safety.

We are an authorized Arai helmet fitting center and we will help you get the helmet that fits you perfectly.
There are so many small features that distinguish the RS Taichi leather suits from virtually anything else on the market that it's almost impossible to list them all.  RS Taichi does not make "entry level" leather suits because they believe that ever rider deserves the best possible protection.  The use of Japanese cowhide is a distinguishing feature of the RS Taichi suits, which is reknowned for it's light weight, abrasion-resistance and flexibility.  Other features such as the industry's best seams, zippers and liners, as well as screened graphics and custom sizing options put RS Taichi at the top of the list and make it our pick for the best of the best.  Proper fitting makes a HUGE difference in terms of comfort and safety, and we can help you get the RS Taichi suit that "suits" you.  RS Taichi offers many more sizing options than other suits on the market, including "Japanese" sizing, custom alterations and (when necessary) full custom suits.

The same attention to detail and safety features carry over into the line of RS Taichi gloves.  Comfort and control feel are unmatched in any other glove, which are critical for track riding, and paired with a plethora of innovative safety features and the use of high-end Knox armor make the RS Taichi gloves the one we'd want to crash in (if we HAD to crash).
Boots Armor
Just like Arai helmets, Sidi boots are the choice of many of the world's top racers and Sidi is at the forefront of boot safety development for track riders.  From our own personal experience as well as that of our customers, we can speak first-hand to the foot and ankle-saving properties of these boots even in extreme situations.  When you buy a pair of Sidi race boots, you're getting the exact same boots that many of the MotoGP guys are wearing! Knox is the greatest innovator of safety armor for track gear, and we think the Knox series of back protectors are the most comfortable and protective on the market.  Knox has also innovated features for armor in gloves, such as the Knox SPS (Scaphoid Protection System) which is integrated in the RS Taichi racing gloves.
