Our Event Formats:
Weekend "Two Session" Events
TrackAddix has always been known as the organization which provides the greatest amount of freedom and the most track time for your money.  That philosophy continues with our weekend events featuring two full 30-Minute sessions every hour, A Group and B Group.  This format give you an hour-and-a-half MORE track time than a typical 3-session event!  We will also run the same format on every weekend day, both Saturday and Sunday, so there is no worry about which format will be ran on the day you are attending if you can only attend one of the days!

Riding instruction is available through the FREE TrackAddix Rider Coach program during either session and is especially encouraged for riders in the B Group session.  TrackAddix encourages riders to take advantage of instruction opportunities, but we let YOU choose when you want instruction and when you'd rather just ride and practice what you've learned at your own pace.

Session Guidelines:
A Group - This group is designed for racers, Advanced track day riders, and faster Intermediate riders who are comfortable with closer passing.
B Group - This group is designed for Novice to Intermediate riders

Passing Rules:
A Group - Safe, clean & courteous passing, no restrictions
B Group - No inside passing on corner entry, minimum 6' margin for all passes.
** Special rules for School Group riders wearing colored School shirts or reflective vests - Please give these riders extra room on passes, and do not pass the School group except on straights.

Lap Time Guidance:
While lap times are not the only factor in selecting which Session is right for you, we do provide a "benchmark" lap time for each track for you to consider when selecting which Session is right for you.  This would be the lap time you can run comfortably and repeatedly with a good margin for safety.  If you are unsure of which session is right for you, we will be happy to help you decide.  In general if you are significantly faster than this lap time, then the A Group will probably be more appropriate and vice versa.  If you're right "on the bubble" with these lap times, then experience and comfort level with being passed by significantly faster riders will need to be considered when selecting the session.
Lap Time Guideline for A Group Riders:
Mid-America Motorplex - 1:55 lap
Motorsports Park Hastings - 1:50 lap

MotoMonday "No Session" Events
The MotoMonday program was designed to provide no-frills, low-cost track days for experienced track day riders, and we operate a totally open "No Session" format at these events.  With maximum track time packed into a 5-hour afternoon event, MotoMondays have generated an almost cult-like following from attendees, with many "regulars" attending nearly every MotoMonday event every season.

With the open, "No Sessions" format, MotoMondays are limited to experienced track riders who have completed the Trackaddix "School of Speed" rider orientation school (or a comparable program from another track day organization) and with enough track time to be comfortable riding with other participants who are both faster and slower then they are.  In general MotoMondays are not appropriate for new track riders, the weekend sessions are a better venue for riders to get up to speed and gain a comfort level with the track before mixing in with the more experienced riders.  If you have any questions on whether MotoMondays are right for you, we'll be happy to talk with you about it to determine which event is the best fit for your skills and experience.

MotoMonday Agenda:
12:00 p.m. (MAM) or 10:00 a.m. (MPH) - Gates Open
1:00 p.m. (MAM) or 11:00 a.m. (MPH). - Registration/Tech
2:00 p.m. (MAM) or 12:00 p.m. (MPH) - MANDATORY Riders Meeting
7:00 p.m. (MAM) or 5:00 p.m. (MPH) - Checker Flag
(Late season MotoMondays may be bumped up 1 hour due to daylight)
