Our Event Formats:
Weekend "Two Session" Events - ALL NEW for 2010!!
These events feature a 20-Minute Novice Session and a 40-Minute Open Session every hour.  We have combined the best of both worlds with these events, providing the freedom and extra track time afforded by our popular "No Session" events for Intermediate and Advanced-level track riders, with the lower-intensity training ground possible in the Novice session.  We will also run the same format on every weekend day, both Saturday and Sunday, so there is no worry about which format will be ran on the day you are attending if you can only attend one of the days!

TrackAddix has always been known as the organization which provides the greatest amount of freedom and the most track time for your money, and we are confident this new format will continue that advantage.  We provide a Novice session both for riders attending the "School of Speed" rider orientation school, as well as newer track riders who have not yet gained the skills, speed and confidence to be comfortable riding in the Open Session.  For those who have progressed past the Novice level, we provide 40-minutes of Open Session track time with freedom to enter and exit the track as you please.  We also know that it's FUN to ride with your friends at the track, event if you're not always at the same skill level.  For example, if you are an advanced rider and your friend is newer to the track and more at the intermediate level, you would never be allowed to ride together at events operated by many other track day organizations.  TrackAddix provides the freedom for anyone who has progressed past the Novice level to ride together in our Open Sessions.

Riding instruction is available through the FREE TrackAddix Rider Coach program during either session and is especially encouraged for riders in the Novice session.  TrackAddix encourages riders to take advantage of instruction opportunities, but we let YOU choose when you want instruction and when you'd rather just ride and practice what you've learned at your own pace.

MotoMonday "No Session" Events
The MotoMonday program was designed to provide no-frills, low-cost track days for experienced track day riders, and we operate a totally open "No Session" format at these events.  With maximum track time packed into a 5-hour afternoon event, MotoMondays have generated an almost cult-like following from attendees, with many "regulars" attending nearly every MotoMonday event every season.

With the open, "No Sessions" format, MotoMondays are limited to experienced track riders who have completed the Trackaddix "School of Speed" rider orientation school (or a comparable program from another track day organization) and with enough track time to be comfortable riding with other participants who are both faster and slower then they are.  In general MotoMondays are not appropriate for new track riders, the weekend Novice sessions are a better venue for riders to get up to speed and gain a comfort level with the track before mixing in with the more experienced riders.  If you have any questions on whether MotoMondays are right for you, we'll be happy to talk with you about it to determine which event is the best fit for your skills and experience.

MotoMonday Agenda:
12:00 p.m. - Gates Open
1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Registration/Tech
2:00 p.m. - MANDATORY Riders Meeting
2:15 p.m. - Track goes GREEN
7:00 p.m. - Checker Flag
(Late season MotoMondays may be bumped up 1 hour due to daylight)

Notes on our Formats:
"Open Session?  Sounds Dangerous!  It's much safer to segment riders into three groups!"
We've heard that one many times, but it's simply not true in our experience riding at hundreds of events with various track day organizations all over the country.  TrackAddix has a history of running the some of the safest and cleanest events in the country, and we've organized our events in such a way as to maximize the safety and level of FUN for our participants with MAXIMUM track time!  That's the reason we run the Open Session format, it gives YOU more track time, less "pressure" to get on the track immediately when a session starts, less "pressure" to extend your riding session as long as possible even past the point you're tired because you don't want to miss out on your allotted session time, and the end result is you get more time, have more fun, and a more relaxed experience.  That makes for a SAFER event, with fewer crashes, because as we have discovered over time, single-rider error is the cause of most crashes on the track, not your interaction with other riders (i.e. passing).  Give it a try, we're confident that you will agree!  We know it's catching on, because other organizations around the country have started to adopt the same format!

"Self-Tech?  Sounds Dangerous!  It's much safer to have a staffer checking the bikes!"  We've heard that one many times too, but it's also not true in our experience.  The TrackAddix self-tech process it not "Free-for-all, don't worry about your bike being safe", it's a guided self-tech process which puts YOU in charge of making sure that your bike and your gear are set up properly for your own safety and the safety of your fellow riders.  After all, who should be more concerned with making sure that your bike is safe to be on the track than YOU, the one riding on top of it?!?!  We offer training for riders in the Novice class on how to go through the detailed TrackAddix self-tech inspection process, so that after you've done it a few times it becomes 2nd nature.  We're also available any time to assist with any questions you have about your bike and compliance with our tech requirements.  The bottom line is that we have had ZERO problems with unsafe bikes on the track at our events.
